We are honored to be invited as one of the cultural programs for the 2nd Chinese Cultural Festival. This concert is organized by the Hong Kong Chinese Culture Development Association, in association with us and in collaboration with Chinese Culture Promotion Office. The concert has received full support from the Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

“Museum Series: the Sounds from Cultural Relics”concert performance consists of over ten original pieces of music that tell the stories of artifacts. The content includes murals from Dunhuang, relics from the Palace Museum, and other representative artworks of Chinese culture. During the concert, the background will showcase images of the artifacts, presented in an animated format to make the visuals more vivid and engaging.

Notably, the ensemble will premiere a new piece composed by Mr. Chu Kai Yeung  , interpreting the stories behind the artifacts. This includes the birthday celebration banner of the Tang Clan from the Hong Kong Museum of History, “The Six Chapters of Qi Feng” from the Hong Kong Art Museum, and Bruce Lee’s yellow jumpsuit from the Hong Kong Heritage Museum—three precious Hong Kong artifacts that showcase a new attempt at the integration of cultural heritage and innovation.
