Dunhuang Music Experimental Education Workshop

The New Experience in Dunhuang Music series is one of the special programmes for "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Digital Dunhuang – Tales of Heaven and Earth". With the theme of Dunhuang music and murals, the ensemble introduced various ancient and modern instruments and performed new arrangements based on Dunhuang music manual scripts, to expand the audience’s understanding on Dunhuang culture and Chinese music. The interactive segment received high levels of engagement from the audience. All 8 sessions of the event were fully attended and received overwhelming reception across all age groups, showing interests in Dunhuang culture
