The 3rd Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo Theatrical Performance – Gaudeamus Dunhuang: the Heavenly Music of Pureland Concert

In order to further preserve and revitalize the cultural heritage of Dunhuang music and give audience an audio-visual experience while appreciating the Dunhuang murals, the Ensemble combined their imagination on the murals and their understanding of Silk Road culture. They reinterpret Dunhuang ancient music, in an attempt to present the lost tunes to the audience in a new light, in order to promote Chinese culture and popularize Dunhuang cultural education.
